Friday 22 February
9:30am - 12:00pm: Mission and Ministry of the Catechist
12:30am - 2:30pm: SRE Teacher in the Parish and the School

Friday 1 March
9:30am - 12:00pm: Safeguarding Children / Child Protection
12:30am - 2:30pm: Lesson Planning: Teaching the Authorised Curriculum

Friday 8 March
9:30am - 12:00pm: Development of the Child and Adolescent I
12:30am - 2:30pm: Classroom Management: Positive Discipline

Friday 15 March
9:30am - 12:00pm: Introduction to the Bible
12:30am - 2:30pm: Teaching Strategies: Using Interactive Whiteboard Resources

• CCD Ministry Induction course is an introduction course for new catechists to cover training to meet Government requirements
• The CCD Ministry Induction (CCDMI) is also available to complete online. (*Authorised Curriculum is to be completed 'face to face')
• Registrations by Monday 15 February 2019
• Registration is essential
• Please arrive 15 mins prior to the start time to sign in
• Sessions start punctually
• Tea and Coffee provided
• BYO Lunch
