The Gospel of Luke
Bishop David Walker will lead these sessions of exploration of the Gospel of Luke. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Gospel that is proclaimed during 2019. Each session will conclude with guided lectio divina of a passage from Luke.

Where the Hell is God?
Written by Fr Richard Leonard SJ, the book Where the Hell is God? , emerged from the experience of family tragedy and explores the question of how to hold on to belief in a loving God in the face of suffering. You’re invited to engage in small group shared reading and discussion of Where the Hell is God? Cost of the book is $20.

Come Follow Me, Encountering Jesus
An invitation to deepen your understanding of coming to faith and discovering discipleship with Jesus through four Gospel stories: The Woman at the Well, the Cure of Bartimaeus, the Crippled Woman and the Rich Man. Rejoice & Be Glad
In his apostolic exhortation, Gaudete et Exsultate, Pope Francis writes ‘Do not be afraid of holiness. It will take away none of your energy, vitality or joy. . . . On the contrary . . .’ As an experienced spiritual guide, Pope Francis offers a practical reflection on the call to holiness in today’s world. These sessions will be guided discussions.

Isaiah Prophet of Advent
The writings of the prophet Isaiah are proclaimed on the Sundays and weekdays of Advent in 2019. Isaiah continued to be read in the synagogues during Jesus’ lifetime. Jesus read from the scroll of Isaiah at the beginning of his public ministry (Luke 4:16-20). During Advent discover something of the world of Isaiah and his followers and allow his words to nourish an Advent hope and longing within you.
