The final Sacrament in the 2023-2024 Children's Sacramental Program is First Communion (Eucharist), which will be celebrated on the weekends of 1 & 2 June and 8 & 9 June 2024. Enrolments will open for this sacrament from this page on Monday 11 March and close on Monday 1 April. For all the program dates and other information see the calendar and further details below.
Further Preparation Program Details
- Children who have been baptised and confirmed (usually in year 4) are eligible to join the program.
- There is an enrolment fee of $55.00 which is payable via credit card during the enrolment process.
- The full preparation program usually takes six to eight weeks and includes;
- A First Communion Parent Meeting
- Three child-parent small group preparation sessions
- One 2 hour Retreat in the week before the Sacrament
- A practise in the church
- Celebration of First Holy Communion
- Before the child-parent sessions begin, there is also a special meeting for parents who volunteer to facilitate the child-parent sessions.

- Which Child-parent weekly session day and time options you will attend
- Which Retreat Session your child will attend
- To provide details of your child's Baptism and Confirmation details, so please have the dates and place details handy
