The first Sacrament in the 2024-2025 Children's Sacramental Program is Confirmation, which will be celebrated on Saturday 14 September 2024 in our parish. Enrolments will open for this sacrament from this page on Monday 24 June and close on Monday 24 July 2024. For all the program dates and other information see the calendar and further details below.
Further Preparation Program Details
- Baptised children who are 8 years of age (usually in year 3) or older are eligible to join the program.
- There is an enrolment fee of $60.00 which is payable via credit card during the enrolment process.
- The full preparation program usually takes six to eight weeks and includes;
- A Confirmation Parent Meeting
- Four child-parent small group preparation sessions
- A practise in the church
- Celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation
- Before the four child-parent sessions begin, there is also a special meeting for parents who volunteer to facilitate the child-parent sessions.
Details you will be asked when you enrol
- You will need to select the session time for the ceremony you will attend
- To provide the date and place of your child's Baptism and to email a copy of the Baptism certificate to us after you have enrolled
