Parish Leadership Day

Content Editor

Dear members of our parish family,

As you know we are living at a challenging time in the history of our church.  It is clear that we can no longer assume ‘business as usual’.  As laity we are all called to be true disciples and leaders;  to use our gifts to create a welcoming, loving Catholic community.

With this in mind, we invite you to join us for our Parish ‘Leadership’ Day, an opportunity to reflect, discern and build relationships across all areas of our faith community. Our program is in three sessions:

o       Friday evening May 10 (from 6pm to 9pm) – commencing with Mass, followed by dinner & discussion (community building);

o       Saturday morning (commencing at 8:30am) –reflection & consideration of our personal and parish mission; and

o       Saturday afternoon (concluding at 4pm) –idea generating workshops.

Attending all sessions would be ideal as each session builds on the previous session however attending only one or two of the sessions would still be valuable.  Our aim is to ignite a renewed passion for our purpose by learning from, and encouraging, each other.

In preparation for our Parish ‘Leadership’ Day  we have created a Parish Survey, designed to provide a snapshot of our parish at this time.  Please take the time to complete this survey by clicking on the link below.  Your contribution can be anonymous or you may choose to provide your contact details.

To book for the Parish ‘Leadership’ Day or if you have queries about the Parish Survey please contact Fran Grant ( or the parish office ( .

We are grateful to Fr Colin and Fr Thomas for their support and involvement in this initiative.

Thank you for the contribution you make to the life of our parish.  We hope that you will make the time to complete the survey and join us on 10/11 May.   The programme for the Friday evening and Saturday sessions can be found by clicking here. (PDF 546KB)
