Sunday the 9th of October 2023 at our Parish, the sky cleared as we celebrated the most wonderful Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima. It commenced at 12:30pm with a short play about the story of Fatima. Then Rosary was recited in five languages, followed by a procession in the Parish Grounds and then Mass with Bishop Anthony Randazzo in the Parish Church. Fr Alberic, and Fr Shansana were present also concelebrating Mass with Fr Paul Durkin. There was a raffle with prizes and afternoon tea at the end that was enjoyed by all. It was a very beautiful and spiritual day, with about 215 attendees. Thank you to all those that offered help especially: Robert Pirina for the cake, Cosimo and Michelle Murdocca for the flowers, John Belcastro for the rose petals, Pina Frasca for baking and Lila Bacha for holding the piety stall. May Mary, the Mother of Our Lord Jesus, through her intercession, shower upon us all the beautiful blessings from heaven. God bless.
