The Catenians

The Catenians are a lay CathoCatenianslic association with 10,000 members worldwide, almost 1000 in Australia with groups in Cairns, Brisbane Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Manly Catenians have 34 members, many of whom are members of North Harbour Parish.

The Catenians are an active social outreach group offering a supporting community with an open invitation for anybody to join us for our monthly dinners, our twice weekly morning walks along Manly Beach or some mental exercise at our now fortnightly Zoom trivia nights as well as other socially distanced small group gatherings through the year.

If you’re recently retired and perhaps looking to replace your working community with a new like-minded group, come along to one of our activities, they’re open to everybody.

Join us on a walk every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:45 am going from Queenscliff Surf club to Shelley Beach and return. It’s a 5km round trip and takes about an hour.

We tend to solve all of the problems of the world in the chat as we enjoy the scenery.

Our trivia nights are now on Zoom every Tuesday fortnight, call Paul Pearson on 0410 311 376 to join in.

Manly Catenians meet at Manly Golf Club for dinner and are entertained and informed by a guest speaker every third Wednesday of the month, we are limited to 20 during these Covid times, but there is always a spare seat.
