Bishop Anthony's Message dated 25 May 2021

Every day we are confronted by the presentation of a frayed and damaged world. The mass media as well as social media regularly portray the elements of life that are grungy, angry, and belligerent. Mostly, we are presented with bad news. It has been suggested that human beings are drawn to bad news possibly because sudden disaster is more gripping than slow upturns. At one level, that might be true. However, at a deeper level I am convinced that the human family in fact desires good news not bad. Every day I receive messages of joy and hope from people from various backgrounds and from different places.
