Vinnies Christmas
St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal

The St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal is being held in our parish next weekend 9/10 December. Support families struggling with the escalating cost-of-living crisis this Christmas. Help provide food, clothing, living expenses and crisis support for vulnerable people in Australia like Anna and her family. Envelopes will be available on the pews and may be added to the collections. Thank you for your kindness.

Pastoral Works Appeal Thanks

Thank you to those who have already donated to our Pastoral Works Broken Bay (PWBB) November Appeal, which in turn supports two main ministries: the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) and Hospital Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care Practitioners.
For the CCD, more than 650 volunteer catechists in our diocese who have received specialised training, provide religious education to nearly 14,000 Catholic students who attend public schools in our local communities.
The Priests and Practitioners in the Hospital Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Program visit more than 3,000 individual patients each year. This pastoral work plays such a vital role for those right across our Diocese. Every gift gives you the power to add to the happiness of someone else. Thank you for your generosity.
For further donations, please complete the Appeal envelope and add it to the collection boxes, or go to www.bbcatholic.org.au/pastoral works. Please nominate The Entrance Parish when donating online. All donations over $2 are 100% tax deductible.

Homeless giving
Catholic Care's Homelessness Fundraiser

There is no place like home – but for many people having a home is not a reality. The causes may be diverse, but the impact is the same – a loss of dignity and a sense of hopelessness.
Thank you to our Parishes for helping us fundraise for CatholicCare’s homelessness services. A donation drive will take place next weekend 26/27 August. Thank you in advance for supporting this important Diocesan initiative. Envelopes will be available in the Church.
