Pastoral Works Appeal 18/19 May
Our Diocesan-wide Pastoral Works Broken Bay (PWBB) May Appeal will be held on the weekend of 18/19 May. PWBB supports two key charitable works in the Diocese – the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine or CCD and our Hospital Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Programme. Your donations are never taken for granted, especially in these challenging economic times. Our Pastoral Works Appeal connects everyone to the mission of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. Every gift or donation brings comfort, friendship, or security, and often opens the doorway to a faith-filled life. Donations can be made at any time. The May Appeal is the last one for the financial year 2023/2024 and we need $12,875 to meet this year’s quota. Donations tax-deductible. https://www.bbcatholic.org.au/giving/pastoral-works-broken-bay/pastoralworks

Contributions

Supporting God's Work in My Parish
We thank you for your support of the Pastoral Works Fund and regular Giving, which can be made via the collection boxes at the doors, in person at the parish office, monthly on credit card, electronic funds transfer, or through direct debit arrangement. Electronically, there are several ways in which you can contribute but some incur higher fees than others. Transfer directly into our accounts incurs no fees and saves the parish. You may also like to consider a bequest to the parish in your will. Your generosity can have a huge impact on your parish’s future.

Proj Comp

Project Compassion
This year Project Compassion presents the stories of resilient women from different corners of the world, facing vastly different challenges, but are all united by one dream: to create a better tomorrow for all future generations.
After the birth of her two children, 22-year-old Ronita was at risk of having to leave school permanently. But, with the support of Caritas Australia’s partners in the Philippines, she resumed her studies and secured a job at a call centre to support her family. Through Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, she is forging a path to a brighter future. Together, we can help vulnerable communities facing challenges. Please donate through the Project Compassion boxes available at the Church doors, call 1800 024 413 or go to caritas.org.au/project-compassion

As you may know, Aussie families are struggling to survive with the increasing cost-of-living pressures.
Your generosity provides urgent relief for families who are doing it tough and gives them hope for a better future. You are helping real people and real families in great need in our area.
For information or to donate online go to vinnies.org.au. Thank you again for your generosity.

Homeless giving
Catholic Care's Homelessness Fundraiser

There is no place like home – but for many people having a home is not a reality. The causes may be diverse, but the impact is the same – a loss of dignity and a sense of hopelessness.
