ALERT!

  New Government Regulations 26.06.2021

The current COVID outbreak in Sydney has intensified significantly overnight which has lead the Premier to place a stay at home order for the Greater Sydney Area, including Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong, effective from 6pm Saturday 26 June 2021, through to at least 11:59pm 9 July 2021.

In light of this, and in order that our people be kept as safe as possible, Bishop Anthony asks that all churches in Diocese of Broken Bay be closed from 6pm Saturday evening, 26 June 2021. Bishop Anthony states, the obligation for the faithful to participate in Sunday Mass (can.1247) is lifted for the people of Broken Bay for the duration of this stay at home order.  He will review the situation as we approach 9 July or if the stay at home order is lifted earlier.  Mass continues to be available via livestreamimg from the Cathedral on Sunday mornings at 9.30AM as well as weekdays at 7AM.
