Parishioners make donations to the Parish to fund the missionary and pastoral activities of the Parish.
Each Mass has two collections.
The First Collection supports the priests of the Diocese.
The Second Collection pays for the running of the parish. Credit Card or weekly planned giving envelopes are the best ways to contribute to the parish since they give us a more regular income and so help us to plan. Application forms are available at the back of the church.
Contributions to the PWBB (Pastoral Works, Broken Bay) are 100% tax deductible. Envelopes are at the back of the church.
Some parishioners may not be able to contribute much to the parish now but may be able to include a bequest for the parish in your will. The following wording is recommended:
“I give, devise and bequeath (the sum of … or my property known as …) free of all duties and taxes to the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the Diocese of Broken Bay (ABN 79 031 652 544) for the purposes of the Parish of Warnervale and I declare that a receipt for the same signed by the Bishop of the Diocese shall be sufficient discharge from my Trustees.”
