First Reconciliation in the 2023-2024 Children's Sacramental Program, will be celebrated on 19 and 21 March 2024. Enrolments to prepare for this sacrament are open from Monday 22 January to Monday 12 February 2024. For all the program dates see the calendar below. To enrol see details below.
Further Preparation Program Details
- Children normally join this program after they have completed the Confirmation preparation program and have been confirmed.
- Children must be baptised and 8 years of age or older to be eligible to join the program.
- There is an enrolment fee of $50.00 which is payable via credit card during the enrolment process.
- The full preparation program usually takes six to eight weeks and includes:
- A Reconciliation Parent Meeting
- Four child-parent small group preparation sessions
- Celebration of the sacrament of Reconciliation in the church
- Before the four child-parent sessions begin, there is also a special meeting for parents who volunteer to facilitate the child-parent sessions.
