Commemoration Masses for Deceased Pre-term & Post-term Babies
At each Mass this weekend 26th/27th October there will be an opportunity for families or individuals to remember those babies who died either pre-term or post-term. Candles will be lit, special prayers offered and commemoration cards be given out. In times past, little recognition was given to the death of a pre-term baby particularly, so some parents or individuals have found it helpful to actually give the deceased baby a name even years later. Each year we have more families or individuals coming to these Masses to honour the short life of their little ones.
