As you would be aware our wonderful Catechists visit our Parish State Schools once a week “Teaching God’s love to the children”.
The schools we currently visit are:
Tuggerah, Tuggerawong, Tacoma, Berkeley Vale and Chittaway Bay Primary Schools as well as Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College.
We are fortunate to have enough Catechists to cover all classes from Kinder to Year 6 in Chittaway and Tuggerawong Primary Schools.
We currently need Volunteers for Tuggerah Public, classes Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2. Tacoma Public Kinder, Years 1, 2, 3 and 4. Berkeley Vale Years 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Jesus calls us to “Witness” and spread “The Word” If you can spare an hour a week, then let this be the ministry you are called to.
Things to note:
¨ Training is provided
¨ All lessons are provided
¨ Classes run for 30min
¨ We currently have 21 Catechists who are more than happy to support and welcome you in this ministry.
