Catechist Sunday gives our parish an opportunity to thank and encourage our catechists. The importance of their work cannot be underestimated and is most rewarding.
Our catechists and helpers are humble people who do not expect public gratitude for what they do.
Occasionally though, we all like to receive a little thanks, particularly when we are volunteering our time.
At this time we publicly thank our catechists/helpers for their hard work and dedication to the ministry. We congratulate them on the good work that they are doing and we encourage them as they continue this most important work of the Church.
To all those who are Catechists/Helpers for 2018, we ask God’s guidance and blessing upon you and the students in your classes.
A special thanks go to those catechists from 2017 who through retirement or family commitments are unable to help us this year.
