Children and our 9.00am Mass
As Catholics, the Mass is our greatest act of worship and most sacred celebration of community, of what it means to be the Body of Christ.
As the faith community of Our Lady of Dolours, we want to empower parents in their role of bringing their children into relationship with God, by providing opportunities to help the children feel connected to this central act of worship in a meaningful way.
Our 9am Mass each Sunday is central to this mission. This is our family friendly Mass. It celebrates in a way that welcomes and supports the involvement of children and young families in the liturgy.
At this Mass we offer Children's Liturgy of the Word, we have a children's choir that performs on the 3rd Sunday of each month and the children can also get involved in reading.

Young People and our 5.30pm Mass
Sunday night 5.30pm Mass is the heart of our parish youth ministry where young people lead the ministries of Music, Proclamation of the Word, Altar Serving and Communion Ministry. If you’re in high school or a young adult we’d love to invite you to come get involved. Contact email@example.com.
On the 4th Sunday night of each month outside of school holidays Mercy College and St Pius X College come and enhance our Mass with leaders from the schools sharing the good news of what nearly 2000 Catholic students are doing in community, social justice and retreats. Join us for a BBQ after this Mass.
