Baptism - Infant Preparation
(0 - 5 years)
A 3 step program for parents and their babies to be baptised. We meet with parents who have asked for their child to be baptised. We explain the rite and the significance of baptism to them, their child and the godparents, and help them prepare for it. Fr Marek Woldan

Children's Atrium of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd A specially prepared place called the Atrium for children to come to nurture and develop their relationship with God in child-friendly and age-appropriate ways.  Sessions are run during school terms. Children's Sacramental Preparation Team A group of facilitators who prepare our children for the Sacraments of Confirmation, Reconciliation and Eucharist. Sessions are held on Wednesdays, Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings during the preparation periods. Enrolment for the sessions is via the Children's Sacramental Program page on our website. Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Catechists A team of parishioners provides education in the Catholic faith and way of life to Catholic children who attend State government-run schools in the local area, in the periods allocated to religious instruction. Maricel Malapira

Children's Liturgy of the Word (Kid's Word) Children's Liturgy of the Word provides prayers and activities related to the Sunday Gospel for children Kindy to Year 3 at a level they can understand. They leave the Church at the start of Mass returning at the end of the Prayers of the Faithful. New leaders are welcome to join the roster, support and guidance provided. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) A group for those who want to know more about the Catholic Faith with a view to becoming members of the Church.

Meetings are held weekly and consist of prayer and reflection on the Sunday readings, followed by explanation and discussion of the Church's traditions and teachings.
