Confirmation celebrations at Pymble Parish
Pymble Parish Confirmation celebrations will take place at the Sacred Heart Church in Pymble on Sunday, 21 May at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Each celebration is a full Mass in addition to the usually scheduled Sunday Masses.
Congratulations to the 85 children of our Parish who are being confirmed by Bishop Anthony Randazzo. These children, along with their families, have been busy actively preparing for this sacrament over the past month.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is the second of the three sacraments of Christian initiation. Confirmation completes Baptism, by which in the laying on of hands and the anointing with Chrism Oil, which first happened at Baptism, we are confirmed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. We are reminded of our participation in the ministry and mission of Jesus, and strengthened to follow Jesus more closely.
Please pray for our Confirmation candidates as they finalise preparations for, and then receive, this joyous sacrament.
