Shrine of Hope for Families

The Shrine of Hope for Families, located at Gosford Parish, is dedicated to St John Paul II, a staunch advocate for the family. He believed that the well-being of society is "intimately tied to the good of the family" (c.f. *Familiaris Consortio*, 3), calling the family the "first and vital cell of society" (c.f. *Familiaris Consortio*, 42). It is fitting, therefore, that this Shrine of Hope focuses on families for the Jubilee Year.

This Shrine is for everyone, regardless of age, as we are all part of a family.

The Jubilee Year 2025 is a time to embrace hope, deepen our faith, and draw closer to God. We invite you to be part of this remarkable journey of renewal and trust in the Gospel, whether through this pilgrimage, community events, or spiritual acts at home.
