“Imagine”, the nature of an alternative world

The opening celebrations for the Tokyo Olympics featured one of the great popular music songs of all time, John Lennon’s “Imagine”. In Tokyo, it was sung by a large children’s choir and a collection of celebrities. The lyrics however, imagining there is no heaven, no religion, and no God, draws our attention to a very dangerous world.
We can enjoy the music of “Imagine”, but please don’t abide by the lyrics.
