NSW has scheduled a progressive relaxation of lockdown Health regulations

Changes are underway as the NSW vaccination rate increases and the community is released from NSW Health coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

In accordance with NSW government planning, the progressive changes outlined below will be implemented within the Parish. Each step is based on the fully vaccinated rate of the eligible NSW population.

Please be aware that NSW health regulations are under constant review.

At a Fully Vaccinated Rate of 70% from Monday, 11 October 2021

  • The Sacred Heart Pymble church opens for private prayer and devotion from 9am to 5pm daily.
  • Weddings and funerals may be scheduled with a maximum of 100 fully vaccinated people in attendance.
  • Confession available by arrangement with the Parish office.
  • Public Mass and Baptism remain suspended.
  • All facilities are subject to the four square metre rule, registration via the NSW Service QR function and the wearing of masks.

At a Fully Vaccinated Rate of 80% from Monday, 18 October 2021

  • Church services return to normal schedules. A musician and cantor may be present. However, congregational singing is not permitted.
  • Weddings and funerals are not limited if all persons attending are fully vaccinated.
  • All facilities are subject to the four square metre rule, registration via the NSW Service QR function and the wearing of masks.
  • Parish facilities other than the churches are only available to fully vaccinated visitors.
  • Online gatherings will continue to be part of ordinary Parish life.
  • The online Mass service from the Parish will be discontinued.

At a Fully Vaccinated Rate of 80% and extended from Monday, 8 November 2021

At a Fully Vaccinated Rate of 95%

  • Parish activity returns to normal schedules. Congregational singing is permitted.
  • All facilities are subject to the two square metre rule, registration via the NSW Service QR function and the wearing of masks.
