New Salvatorian Superior in Australia

In a moment of great joy and significance for the Salvatorian community, Fr Greg Skulski SDS has been elected as the new Superior of the Salvatorians in Australia.

Fr Greg is the youngest member of the Salvatorian community in Australia and brings with him a deep sense of dedication, energy, and passion for ministry. His pastoral progression has included service in parishes across Australia, including Carnarvon, Balcatta (WA), Pymble, and currently as the Parish Priest of Gosford in NSW. He has also served as a chaplain at Chisholm College in Perth, where he offered spiritual guidance and support to students and staff alike.

In addition to his parish work, Fr Greg has been a strong advocate for vocations, working tirelessly to promote and nurture Salvatorian vocations in both Australia and East Timor. His commitment to the mission and values of the Salvatorians has been evident throughout his ministry.

For the past seven years, Fr Greg has served faithfully as the Salvatorian Deputy Superior, gaining valuable leadership experience and deep insight into the needs of the community. His election as Superior is a testament to the trust and confidence placed in him by his fellow Salvatorian priests.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Fr Greg as he takes on this important leadership role. Please keep him in your prayers as he takes up this new role of service and responsibility. May God continue to bless him abundantly.

Fr Greg was elected at the 12th Salvatorian Regional Chapter held from 8 to 12 September 2025 at the Salvatorian Spirituality Centre in Perth. The theme for this significant gathering was "Immersed in the Divine Saviour on Our Missionary Journey in Australia". The 12th Chapter marks an important moment of reflection, discernment, and decision-making for the Salvatorian Fathers serving across Australia.
