St John Paul II Shrine Opening

The St John Paul II Shrine was opened on Saturday, 22 October 2022 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, East Gosford together with the installation of two first-class relics. Broken Bay Bishop Anthony Randazzo dedicated the Shrine and installed the relics.

A painting by a Polish artist of St John Paul II commissioned for the event was also unveiled along with a 3.5 metre statue of the saint which now stands outside the main entrance to the church.
