Children and Youth activities and ministries are vital to our parish because they provide our children and young people with opportunities to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, gain a sense of belonging to the Parish Community, and develop a deep understanding of the Catholic Faith.

Emmaus Young Adults
Our Parish started a young adults group in 2020 for people aged 23-30 years old. It was initiated to allow young adults to meet and form a community while helping ongoing formation and faith.
This group meets once a fortnight from 7-8:30pm at St Gerard’s Meeting room with occasional social activities.
Emmaus was the name chosen for this group and appears in Luke 24:13 ‘On that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem’. The road to Emmaus is where Jesus first appeared to two of his disciples after his resurrection.
As young adults, we are walking and journeying with the risen Jesus. We may ask questions along the way but we have a desire to follow Jesus and it is through the breaking of bread that we are united with Jesus.
If you are between 23-30years old and would like more information or want to join, please contact the Youth Ministry Co-ordinator or the Parish Office.
