Iggy Pintado appointed Diocesan Communications Director

Bishop Anthony Randazzo, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay has appointed Iggy Pintado as Communications Director, Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay.

Communications has been identified as a significant priority in supporting the Bishop’s vision and mission through integrated strategic, advisory, and administrative leadership.

Iggy is responsible for strategic leadership in communications on a Diocesan wide basis, serving the broader work of evangelisation and coordinating communications activity across the Parishes, Catholic Schools Broken Bay and CatholicCare Broken Bay.

Iggy Pintado June 2021 web storyHe is an accomplished and experienced leader with significant communications, marketing, social media, and online expertise. He has held professional, management and executive positions at IBM, Telstra, UXC Connect, AICD, SAS and IDC. Most recently, Iggy held the role of CEO and Company Secretary at Omnicare Alliance, a not-for-profit social services provider in the Mid North Coast.

He has been a resident in the Diocese since his family's arrival from Manila, Philippines in 1972. His family lived in St Ives where they attended Corpus Christi Parish regularly. With his four brothers, he attended St Leo's College, Wahroonga until 1982 while his three sisters attended Brigidine College, St Ives.

This tradition has continued with his granddaughter currently attending Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School in Wyoming in the Central Coast. He is currently a regular parishioner at St Bernadette’s Parish, Castle Hill.

The role was previously held by Selina Hasham, who will be taking up her new role as CEO of Harvest Journeys.

Iggy commenced his role on Monday, 31 May 2021.
