Events & Conferences Officer

This is an exciting role where you’ll be working on a wide variety of internal and external events, coordinating sponsors & speakers and building a network of trusted venue, audio-visual, catering partners and more. You’ll be involved in anything and everything event related – from developing project plans & budgets, developing promotional strategies and campaigns, designing and developing conference materials, engaging & training volunteers for events as required and sourcing & liaising with event & conference sponsors.

Wyong Youth Coordinator and Ku-Ring-Gai Youth Coordinator

Two of our Diocesan parishes – Wyong and Ku-Ring-Gai are seeing a casual Youth Coordinator working approximately 4 hours per week, to build and maintain a parish youth group, encouraging young people to engage and participate in parish youth activities, ensuring a sense of fun, community, belonging and faith for the youth and young adults in the parish.

The role does allow for flexibility with the working schedule, however you’ll need to have availability for weekends and evenings.

Ku-Ring-Gai Parish

The Ku-Ring-Gai Catholic Parish is seeking to recruit a permanent, part-time Administration Assistant working two days per week.

The role plays an important part in the Parish team, with a wide range of responsibilities including general administrative tasks, working with the Parish team on Parish communications to profile and raise awareness of programs and ministries within the Parish, maintaining parish records including sacramental register updates, taking bookings for sacraments including baptisms and funerals, assisting with the setup of parish facilities for events and much more.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic values and teachings, experience in an office administrative role, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and time management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

There is some flexibility with the working schedule however the role does require a physical presence in the office, with a preference for the working schedule to be Wednesdays and Thursdays
