Community BBQ!

Our monthly Community BBQ is on Sunday 27th July at 11.30 am at the forecourt of Our Lady of Dolours. Why do we do this each month? Well, yes it’s nice to bring parishioners together and strengthen the bonds between us but more importantly, we are laying the foundations for being what our mission says, the face of Christ to the City. Our Community BBQ is for everyone especially any who are feeling a bit short of companionship, a bit isolated in this frenetic world, or who feel like outsiders in a community that doesn’t care about them. Think about who in your work or social circle or your family or among your friends could do with a bit of love, a bit of warmth or just a friendly meal and invite them along. That is bringing the face of Christ to the city. Let’s do it!
