Our Broken Bay pilgrims shone on stage at the Australian gathering at WYD2019 in Panama City. The Broken Bay band, consisting of Fr Francis Belcina, Simon Hyland, PJ Almendras, Deacon Adrian Gomez and James on drums, led singing for the 1000 Aussie pilgrims. They were joined on stage by Fr Rob Galea to sing to the adoring crowd.
A great reunion of our former Bishop, Archbishop Peter A Comensoli with his beloved CYBBies was a highlight.
That afternoon our pilgrims travelled to the opening Mass and joined with 100,000 pilgrims from across the world to officially kick of World Youth Day 2019.
